Five short reviews.

The Great Gatsby [Book]:
A story of love and vengeance; desires and greed; and sequentially, emptiness. Full of symbolic representations and hidden questions about life. Fitzgerald captures the characteristics of society, with all its imperfections. 10/10

The Girl with the Cardboard Port [Book] :

This unrefined memoir was inspirational at the least.Judith faced the kind of adversity most of us will never know, yet went on to find contentment and success. 9/10

A Time to Kill [Book] :

The controversial topics in this book, keep you questioning your morals and beliefs the whole way through; never knowing what is right or wrong… Must read!  9/10

Public Enemies [Movie] :

The remarkably intense scenes are sublime; the imbedded love story is alluring; and the acting is immaculate. However, the hand-held camera was somewhat distracting! 9/10

500 Days of Summer [Movie] :

Finally! A movie without the clichéd endings from common post-modern ‘boy meets girl’ love stories. It’s perplexingly beautiful. Loved it!  10/10

Thoughts on the inside.

The architecture of a building cannot be designed until the purpose of the interior is established. The interior is where the interactions between people and spaces occur, therefore the interior is a vital forethought in the process of building design. The exterior must then be designed to suit the interiors purpose. Interior design not only caters for the interactions that will occur, it influences them.

Out of Office

In case I forgot to mention, I study Interior Design [at QUT], and whilst it's Mid-Semester, and there are lots of assessments to be done, I probably will not have time to make frequent posts until Mid-year break...

Hope everyone has a great Easter Break!!

Brisbane Hot Spot's : Ribbetts

How does all you can eat Ribs, Pizza and Pasta for $27 dollars sound?

What about having your Ribs, Pizza and Pasta freshly cooked upon ordering?

Ribbetts is unlike most 'All you can eat' restaurants where you serve yourself from a buffet bar not knowing how long the food has been sitting there. You can order as much freshly cooked food as you want during your 90 minute seating, so long as the food does not go to waste - You can even place your orders via text so you don't have to wait for the waitress to come around each time you run out of Ribs.

The Ribs (both Pork and Lamb) were so delectable that our group order four LARGE plates! My favourite Pizza was the 'Cajun Chicken' but you just can't go past trying the unusual 'Chicken, Bacon and BANANA' Pizza. And my favourite Pasta, I cannot say, because we were so full that we just couldn't order pasta aswell - but next time I think I might just have to try the 'Chicken and Mushroom' pasta.

So go along, either with a group of friends or with family... But make sure you choose company with whom you won't be embarrassed to be around when gorging into a meal with your hands - so probably not a good first date idea.
